Rain is just so cool! It brings out the worms! Then, we can collect them from the patio and bring them inside to put in our indoor plants! :) LOL!! Ari sure loves worms!

Kylie seems to have some magic powers that we didn't know about... :P

We colored eggs today for entertainment. We have all been so couped up with being sick for so long. Kylie likes to color quickly and with lots of different colors. Ari is more methodical and likes to dip parts of the eggs in and is slower. Jas and I each colored one too... I still love it!

Ari was coughing so hard early this morning. So, Jas took her outside because she was too wobbly to stand near the freezer. Poor baby!!

I got to practice taking pictures today with Jason's cousins' boy. I just had to smile when I thought about writing cousins. Actually Jenni and Jonathan are BOTH his cousins and they have a baby! LOL!!! It sounds so wrong, but it's actually perfectly ok! They are totally not related to each other but both related to Jason! Hahaha!!! We could have sat on both sides of the church when they were married! LOL!!!

Ari was sick today. She brought one of her little cupcake-making coupons from her birthday over to me. So, we made carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. She did everything but the baking and frosting parts. :)

This "egg" chair from IKEA has been worth every penny! I found Ari in it reading today, and the girls love to get in together-one spins them with their feet sticking out. :)

March 11

First night back in her "big girl room"! She has told me that, "It's her bed. So, she gets to make up the rules." So, she picked the top bunk and Kylie got the bottom. She is also planning on many other family members sleeping over (grandparents included! lol!) Tonight, she got in bed and proudly pronounced, "Now, I can pick my boogers!" I asked what she meant, and she said that she "wasn't allowed" in Kylie's bed. lol! So, now, she can happily pick her boogers in her top bunk! We didn't get the shelves hung today because they didn't work out. Jas put the light together and we came up with a plan for that. He also finished the chair that Ari and I had mostly together.

March 10

The girls have been wanting to go over to play on the school's playground for a couple days now, and today it got up to 70 degrees. So, I enjoyed watching them for a while before a night of painting the second coat. I love this picture of Kylie!

March 9

First layer of paint. Bill also came over to look at the light and take off the register. The light is becoming harder than it was meant to be. Kinda sad to cover up the stenciled flowers. Jas and I have been having a really nice time doing this project together. We had a nice time when we made it into a nursery about 7 years ago too.

Ari was just about to fall asleep when Jas finished her bunk bed (It was very late.) He thought it would be fun to let her see it if she was still awake... Look how happy she was! She came over and gave us both leg hugs and ran out and then back in and told us thank you. Then, after seeing it some more, she went in and woke up Kylie to tell her. So, Kylie came to check it out too. :)

Ari really liked this sample! We have a lot of fun at Walmart. It's no wonder that Ari wants to be a Walmart worker when she grows up. Just this week, Ari was given some bubble wrap (from the paint guy) and a yellow car magnet (from the veteran collection guy) and a sticker (from the greeting lady). She was so happy with her little treasures!

This is my new favorite drink- chai lattes! :)

Ari doesn't eat normal breakfast foods. She would much rather have a grilled cheese sandwich, tuna fish sandwich, or cinnamon toast than cereal or oatmeal.

Kylie had Wacky Wednesday today in her class... Here's what we came up with! And, I just noticed that I didn't clone the black on the right hand side...lol!!! oops!

The supper that suprisingly turned out to be a hit with everyone! Janet gave me the recipe idea after Weight Watchers, and I went to Walmart for the ingredients and some Gatorade for my sickies (everyone was home today). It was cabbage and onions cooked with a tiny bit of olive oil and mixed with 1 cup of no yolk egg noodles and some real bacon bits. I also added mushrooms to mine. It was yummy and only about 6 points! :)

Jason built this tower for the girls while I watched the Biggest Loser.

March 2

Ari was entertaining herself by playing with Kylie's bike wheel and her chiuaua Pet Shop. She looks so much like my cousin Missy in this picture!

March 1

My healthy breakfast. I have been eating the Weight Control Oatmeal for several weeks. And, now, I'm trying to cut back on coffee some because it adds points (from the creamer that I can't live without). So, I had tea with Spenda (with 1 gram of fiber in each packet!) I've also been drinking more water with some of the powder mixes.

We dug out some of the "school stuff", and the girls did math problems and spelled words on the pocket chart.

Ari read one of Kylie's early first grade books today! And, Kylie has really taken off in her reading this year! I was so impressed at how she read this book today! She has an awesome teacher!

Ari was so happy and suprised that we had a belt that she could use! She had seen her Daddy putting on a belt this morning and wished to be like him.

This is one of my favorite parts in Kylie's room. We used flower beads to make a canopy over her bed and these lights above her pillows.
